Privacy Policy
SVGX turns your prompts into clean, editable SVG. This policy explains what data we collect, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The short version: we collect only what we need to run the service, we don't sell your data, and your creations remain yours.
1.Information We Collect
We collect three kinds of information:
- Account information — Your name, email address, and password (stored as a salted hash) when you sign up.
- Content you create — The prompts you write, the settings you choose, and the SVG files we generate for you, so you can revisit and re-download them.
- Usage data — Basic technical logs such as IP address, browser type, pages visited, and timestamps, used for security and to keep the service running.
2.How We Use Your Information
We use your information to provide and improve SVGX:
- Operate the service — authenticate you, generate SVGs from your prompts, and store your generation history.
- Process payments for paid plans through our payment provider; we never see or store your full card details.
- Communicate with you about your account — transactional messages such as receipts, password resets, and important service changes.
- Protect the service — detect abuse, prevent fraud, and debug problems.
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use your prompts or generated SVGs to train AI models without your explicit consent.
4.Third-Party Services
SVGX is built on a small set of service providers that process data on our behalf:
- Cloudflare — Hosts our application and database and provides security services. Your data is stored and served through Cloudflare's global network.
- AI generation providers — Your prompt is sent to our model partner to produce the SVG. Prompts are transmitted without your name or email attached.
- Stripe — Handles payments for paid plans. Card details go directly to Stripe and never touch our servers.
Each provider only receives the data it needs to perform its function and is bound by its own privacy commitments.
5.Data Retention
We keep your account information and generation history for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we delete your personal information and generated files within 30 days, except where we are legally required to keep certain records (for example, invoices for tax purposes). Server logs are retained for up to 90 days.
6.Security
All traffic to SVGX is encrypted with TLS. Passwords are stored as salted hashes and are never readable by us. Access to production data is limited to the small number of people who operate the service. No system is perfectly secure — if we ever discover a breach affecting your data, we will notify you promptly.
7.Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights under laws such as the GDPR or CCPA. Regardless of location, we offer everyone the same controls:
- Access & export — Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction — Update your name and email in account settings at any time.
- Deletion — Delete your account and its associated data.
- Objection — Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing of your data.

8.Children's Privacy
SVGX is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age in your jurisdiction), and we do not knowingly collect their data. If you believe a child has provided us personal information, contact us and we will delete it.
9.Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy as SVGX evolves. For significant changes we will notify you by email or with a notice in the app before the change takes effect. The date at the top of this page always reflects the latest revision.
